HDR Image Gallery

I am a big fan of High Dynamic Range photography and a lot of scenes are suitable.  As you can see here, I use it (or at least try it out) not just for static objects and interiors, but also for the odd landscape.  HDR images are also great as a basis for a conversion to black and white.

I have encountered a multitude of challenges (see also my blog posts on HDR photography), experimented, … and really learned a lot!  Quite often I do want to achieve the very typical HDR look as for some subjects it just brings out the character, the mood of a scene with more intensity.  But sometimes a more subtle, a more realistic approach to HDR is more suitable.  Or maybe the more grungy HDR look for the foreground combined with a more realistic conversion for the background?  There are no bounds to your creativity here!

I now have a defined and pragmatic workflow that uses a core set of software tools.  See the Courses and Tuition section of my webpage if you want to learn more.
